If you are wondering why all our fabulous Organic Herbs and Spice stock has disappeared from eBay then read on.  On 24th September eBay is increasing its fees to small businesses like myself by over 200+%  As you can imagine there is only a small profit in herbs and spices as they are low value items and I only run the business part time.  So I have relocated The Spice Cellar to eBid which is everything eBay was before it got complicated and too expensive.  You will be surprised how similar it is and how easy it is buy and pay for items - Same great products - Same great service - Just another new start!

I have been trading on eBay since 2002 and have a great reputation as ollielander and ebay store Mascot Mania with 99.9% positive feedback on over 2300 transactions .  The Spice Cellar is a new venture for me to which I will apply the same high levels of customer service and satisfaction that I am renowned for.

Why Herbs and Spices? - I have always using herbs and spices and for a long time I have been looking for an ethical and sustainable range to supply - At last I have found it and I am proud to be able to supply the Steenbergs range of Organic and Fairtrade Herbs and Spices. 

My eBay store will stock a wide range of Organic and Fairtrade herbs and spices sourced from all over the world.  The range will include all the favourite herbs and spices as well as some of the more unusual and rare herbs and spices.  It is easy to navigate around the store using the links on the left hand side of the store home page.  If you cant find a product you would like then contact us and I will see if I can add it to the stock.

Herbs and Spices make fantastic gifts that are always appreciated, especially when they are of this high quality and are from a traceable Organic source.  I will be stocking a variety of gift packs and ideas.

Buyer Information - The Small Print!

• Item Descriptions - I always describe the items as accurately as possible and these will clearly identify the pack size/weight and style of product pack. There is nothing worse than receiving something that is totally different to the item you thought you were buying! 

• Photographs - All listings will have at least one high quality photograph, if you need to see something special then please ask.  Pictures are copyright so please ask permission before using them.  More pictures are available on our website

• Methods of Payment UK - I accept Paypal, Postal Orders and UK Cheques

• Methods of Payment EU - Paypal only please

• Postage outside the EU - Unfortunately not available due to custom restrictions on importing herbs and spices

• Postage and Packing Charges - The postage and packaging costs are clearly displayed on the listing page for all countries that I will post the item to and include the cost price of any necessary packing material.  I usually use the Royal Mail for postage and the costs are calculated on the packed weight and size of the item.  Postage costs are not negotiable and I do not try to increase my sale price by inflating the postal prices.  Collection of your order is possible by prior arrangement only.

• Combined Postage Costs - No problem - The more you buy the more you save and I have tried to make the options simple and they are shown in the postage section of the listing - The listings make clear the various postage discounts available for bulk orders - If its not clear please ask.

• Postal Insurance - Insurance is optional and the associated costs will be displayed in the postage cost section of the listing - If the item is high value then postal insurance may be included in the postage cost.  I have started to remove the option of recorded delivery as its not worth the trouble - I always obtain proof of posting which covers any item up to £34.00

• Packaging - Packaging does cost money and I charge this at cost price within the postal charge.  For environmental reasons and to keep costs to a minimum dont be surprised if I use some clean recycled material. All items will be well packed - Its no use to anyone if the item is damaged or broken on arrival.  Most of the packing material I use can be recycled.

• Refunds and Returns - We want you to be delighted every time you buy from The Spice Cellar. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our "no quibbles" guarantee if, for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in the same condition as you received it within 7 days of the date you received the item. We will then, and only then, issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
  Please contact us first so we can expect the return and we advise you to obtain a proof of postage

• Feedback - I leave feedback as soon as payment is made - Please leave it for me when you are satisfied with your purchase - This is what drives eBay businesses.  You can see my recent feedback at the bottom of this page. If you have a problem with your purchase then contact me - I want you to be 100% satisfied. Sometimes things do not go 100% smoothly (unusual but possible!)  if the worst happens I believe that its what is done to resolve the problem that matters
