We collected Civil War items over the years.  We got burned by a very well-respected CW dealer.  Larry and I try to live by the GOLDEN RULE.  We are not out to cheat anyone.  We don't want to be cheated.

We've had to change our return policy on some items because 4 different items were damaged by the buyers and sent back.  We don't sell broken items.  Their money was refunded.  We describe all items well, and take pictures showing as much as possible.  Ask questions before bidding, please.

As far as Civil War items we sell, we list them as authentic because we believe them to be authentic.  If proven wrong, your money is refunded, including your shipping.  I don't think there are many dealers on eBay that do that.  Visiting the CW site, I see so many out and out fakes being sold as authentic.  Your best bet is to educate yourself.  Buy the referance books.  Believe me, it will save you money in the long run.
