Who We Are: The Witches Cupboard is a family owned New Age store consisting of myself (Anyanka), my husband (Reed) and my daughter (Amethyst). I am intuitive and a tarot reader, Reed struggles with the occassional skeptism, and Amethyst is just starting to learn how to cast.
Where We Are: We are located in beautiful Rimrock Arizona, just south of the well known spiritual mecca of Sedona. This area is widely thought to hold alot of power. One of the main reasons we moved here from Pennsylvania was to be able to charge our items in this tremendously magickal setting!
What We Don't Believe: We don't believe in religious intolerence, and we don't believe you have to pigeon-hole yourself into titles such as "Christian," "Wiccan," etc. Religion is a personal experience, and no 2 people share exactly the same vision of what that means. Let yourself believe and seek, don't let others dictate limits to those beliefs. Be open minded and tolerent to the beliefs of others. If I'd have to choose a "religion" that is close to my own beliefs, I would choose the Gnostics. The Gnostics believe in the intuitive comprehension of a higher spiritual truth, and that sentiment pretty much sums up how I feel.
Giving Back: We are proud sponsors of both Christian Children's Fund and Plan USA (AKA Childreach.) Through CCF we sponsor a beautiful young lady named Rejane. She is 7 years old and lives in the Phillipines. Through Plan we sponsor an adorable young man named Estalin. He is 6 years old and lives in Ecuador.
