Meet Kaleb, he makes my day brighter!

I have decided it is time to clean house :) I will be listing a little bit of This, a little bit of That and a little bit MORE!! From Toys, Trains, Antiques, Household items and misc selection of just about everything else soon to be listed.
I am now regarded as a power seller. This is because of the wonderful buyers that I have had purchasing my auctions. I aim to provide detailed auctions, written to the best of my ability and pictures for the buyers review. I handle every item with the same level of quality care and packing regardless of the item price (as you can see in my feedback). I greatly appreciate the bidders and highest bidder of my auctions.
I love to browse eBay for myself and others who are looking for something special. Now I am listing more and more even for friends and the "friends of friends". I make sure that I have all the items in my possession before listing and thoroughly go over the item... I will not list junk! I believe that every item should be clean and packaged appropriately. I will never send an item out that is filthy or be careless in packing the item. Who wants to buy dirty items? I don't believe in surprises, meaning I don't make my items look better than they really are. Sometimes it is difficult to really see what one is buying (I've experienced too many auctions as a buyer to know how I will not be as a seller!) so I do my best to describe the items I have on auction, please do ask questions as it never hurts to be certain.
I have met some incredibly nice fellow eBayers and a few well let's just say they must not be too nice in person either :) Feedback is a tool to measure the type of seller or buyer you will be transacting business with. It is important as a member of eBay that we utilize this method as intended! I will NEVER leave retaliatory feedback ( I really lack respect for sellers that do) In most cases, as a seller, I have left the buyer feedback before they even receive their purchase. I believe communication is an asset that we all posses but don't always use, please know that I am one who does communicate as I believe a transaction should be smooth.
I do my best to describe my auctions in great detail, always ask questions if there is something more you need to know. In turn, if I am a buyer I will ask any questions I have before I bid. I always make multiple attempts to remedy any issues.
New eBayers: For Bidders of my auctions with less than 50 transactions.
I have recently dealt with too many new eBayers that chose not to pay or paid with a bouncing e-check! It is for that reason that any new bidder will receive an e-mail from me via eBay, if I do not get a response the bid will be cancelled. I am sorry that I have to do this but listing on eBay is not free and I spend time placing the listing. Thank you for your understanding.
Payment: For Buyers of my auctions.
My auctions are listed with PayPal payment only. I realize that not everyone likes this method to pay. If you are a US bidder and do not use PayPal please feel free to contact me as I may accept a USPS money order.
Shipping: For Buyers of my auctions.
I do not use the shipping calculator because I have found it to be inaccurate on several auctions in the past. Even recently I found a shippers online estimate to be off about $15.00 from the actual cost (certainly can't go back to the buyer!) Anyway, I will be happy to give an estimate for shipping. If you are looking to combine shipping, I will be happy to give you an estimate, please just let me know all of the items you are interested in. I calculate shipping by the actual cost plus the handling (packing materials, etc) Please understand that I am not a business, I do not have pallets of boxes and packing at cost. I buy supplies at a local retailer like any other ordinary person. I try to do my best to recycle to keep packing costs down. I'm not a fan of the pay the highest shipping and then get $ off or 50 % off add'l as that can become costly. Shipping insurance is always recommended. Please know that I do not just throw something in a box as many do, all of my auctions are shipped well packed (please feel free to review my seller feedback)
Understanding leaving DSR (Star Rating):
This goes hand in hand with the feedback rating for a seller. Buyers not only have the opportunity in words to express their experience (+ / - or neutral) Buyers can rate the experience with stars similar to dining or lodging. Personally I am not a fan of this system because of how stars are interpreted. For instance if I the seller ship my auction out within 12 hours of receiving payment and my auction shows 2 days to ship than I don't expect to be rated anything but a 5 for the shipping time category. I have found that some buyers are rating the handling time of the carrier and that is not who you are leaving feedback for as sellers have no control over the transit time once the carrier has possession. Shipping costs, this is another area that sometimes is confused. I do my best to find the best/lowest shipping available to me. I do encourage bidders to contact me for quote. If you are unhappy with the amount quoted than please do not bid on my auction as my goal is for my buyers to be happy and I can't change the cost of the carriers. In a nut shell, the DSR is of ones opinion but I hope that it is truly based on your experience with me the seller and not eBay, USPS, UPS, PayPal, etc.
As we begin another year of opportunities, try to take lessons learned in 2007 and make the year of 2008 the best that you can. Give a smile, a wave, a handshake, or a pat on the back. As simple as that may seem, it could be the world to the person receiving it. Times have changed so much that people tend to move right along without noticing their surroundings. If you buy one and get one free and don't need the "free" one than donate it to your local food pantry. The recipient might just be your neighbor and you wouldn't even know. I could go on and on as I can relate. Always remember, never judge a book by it's cover, you could miss an incredible beginning and an unforgettable ending. Try to be fair and be willing to put yourself in the other persons shoes.
Lastly, if you are philantrophic at work, consider donating to helping find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), the Myelin Project, a non-for-profit service animal fund or any brain research group. Thank you. If you'd like information on how Kaleb joined my life, feel free to e-mail me. Thank you Novartis Pharma for expanding the Freedoms II drug study!
