First, let me explain my shop name. I have a twin sister, and when my Dad called one of his uncles to let him know that my Mom had just given birth to twin girls, my great-uncle responded, "Well, I guess you'll just have to call them Whistle and Thistle." I am Thistle, and I craft!
I have been making, selling, and teaching crafts most of my 40 years of life. I have experience in many different craft techniques and media, thanks mostly to my Mom and my insatiable desire to learn new things. As such, I have collected a LOT of arts and crafts supplies! And this is where I come to thin out my stash!!! OK, it is also where I come to replenish my stash!
Other intestests include gardening, reading, church, collecting (clowns, vintage glassware, vintage Christmas ornaments and Santas, etc), and searching for treasures at garage sales, estate sales, flea markets, and such. And I have to thin these stashes out from time to time as well.
