Hello there! Thank you for visiting our auctions and "About Me" page!  My name is Tammy and I am the mother of a beautiful little girl named Sierra who is almost pre-school age. I am also expecting-the new little blessing is due in March of 2006. I am the ever so fortunate wife to my wonderful husband Mike. We live in the sunny state of Florida on the East coast about 5 minutes to the beach. I was born here and am a local as is our daughter. My husband is from the mid-West and will never go back other than a visit. We LOVE sunny skies with NO snow! Nice to visit the snow-but I will NEVER live in it. I LOVE to shop for bargains and have a great time doing it! I like to pass the savings on to fellow shoppers who also like to get a deal. I do Ebay in my spare time. I am a very reasonable person and I try hard to work with everyone to the best of my ability. As we all know-unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world or a perfect society. If we did-there would be NO war, NO hurricanes, NO price gouging for gasoline, NO homeless, NO hungry and I could just go on for days..... So pleasing 100% of the people 100% of the time doesn't always happen as we would optimally choose.  When I first started Ebay, it was a way for me to have my own money. Being a stay-home mom, it felt good having my own money again. Now Ebay has evolved into something I do to help support my family. As it turns out-life altering events have brought themselves to our doorstep.

My husband was the service manager of a local dealership and along with others lost his job right around the same time the Hurricanes hit Florida in 2004. We were forced to move on to other ventures and ways to support our family. We purchased a piece of commercial land that is 4.5 acres. It is all unimproved other than a very old building that was the town's post Office in 1962. We then decided to open a Deli-Pizzaria there. It is a long process as we are basically building it from scratch other than 4 block walls-Hurricane Jeanne took the roof.  The Town Hall is right next door and they wanted to buy the property before we did. Apparently the old owner had other ideas and refused to sell it to them for reasons I don't know. Needless to say-they were a little upset that we had the opportunity to buy it. We have applied for permits and waited over 3 months to get them. We now have a meeting with the Town Council to present our restuarant plans and ideas for future development of the remaining acreage. Hopefully the town members will be a bit easier to deal with than the officials-as they have the final word. I just Thank God Mike is a charmer with polished business skills.  As he is quite a bit more tactful than myself. We have done all we are able to do without permits-now we wait on the Town. Meanwhile-we are trying to sell anything and everything we can to create revenue until we are able to open. We have a bit more than half-way to go. AS it turns out- we ran into several setbacks that became a bit more costly than projected. What it all boils down to is-It just takes time and money-like most things do. I have Faith that our efforts will not go unrewarded. I wake up each morning and remind myself today is just one day. It helps me keep a positive mental attitude. As the Lord has always provided for us. After all-you have to suffer first so you can truly enjoy the fruits of your labor later.
