I am an occasional seller and buyer on ebay. This is just a hobby for me, not a full-time job. Although I take this very seriously, I do have a real-life job that must come first. I will make every attempt to answer any & all emails in a timely manner, but it likely will not be immediate.
I do try to be very honest in my listings and always describe items as well as I can. I try to include a flat rate for all items, so it is easier to calculate totals. I do not deliberately overcharge on shipping. If you have a question on shipping costs, don't hesitate to ask. I ship items daily, so you get it fast!

I'm glad you've stopped by to learn a bit more about me and my hobby. My name is Mark and I live in Wisconsin. I have been a registered ebay member since January 1999 and have been selling on ebay since May 1999. I have loved the experience so far! I enjoy buying items to add to my various collections as well as offering hard-to-find items for sale on ebay!
All of my items are from a smoke-free, pet-free environment and are handled with the utmost of care! I am very particular about contacting each auction winner as soon as possible to speed up the process.
I recommend Paypal Payments for fastest service, but do accept cash, money orders and good checks! I always take great care in packing things carefully & mailing out items promptly. No complaints with my shipping yet! And I ALWAYS leave feedback for my auction winners.

I can not be held responsible for uninsured, lost or misguided items in the mail, so I strongly recommend you purchase insurance for your item, or at least a tracking number for delivery confirmation. The post office does an excellent job 99.99% of the time...but there is always a chance yours might be that .01% that gets lost or destroyed. So please consider insurance for your item. Some of my items have the insurance automatically added, but please ask to make sure!
I have successfully completed over 2,200 transactions on Ebay. But not all of my customers have left feedback. I believe that open, honest communication is the key to every succesful transaction. I enjoy buying and selling on Ebay. I have met some really wonderful folks here! I try to make all of my listings as accurate as possible. However, please keep in mind that it is the bidder's responsibility to ask all questions before placing a bid. I can't possibly think of everything bidders would want to know about my auction listing. And I am not an expert in every subject. If you don't see something in my auction listing, ASK!!
I have noticed lately that a lot of Ebay buyers are reluctant to pay the cost of shipping items. The post office increased their ZONE RATES in 2002. For items weighing more than one pound, the post office will charge a rate based upon the weight of the item as well as the distance the item must travel. This increased rate has been significant. To make things easier for us all, I try to charge a FLAT FEE for each item. If it costs more to ship than I quote in the auction, I will cover the cost. If it costs significantly less than I quote, I will be happy to refund the difference as long as the winner requests the difference after receiving their item.
I want to work with buyers to help keep their Ebay purchases affordable. I welcome all questions concerning shipping amounts and will try to provide an accurate quote of estimated shipping upon request. As far as handling fees, I have noticed many Ebay sellers who are now charging a "handling fee" for each item. I DO NOT add on any handling charges!
I am a positive person and see no reason why every Ebay transaction should not be a positive transaction. In regards to leaving Ebay feedback, I do leave POSITIVE feedback for every successful transaction. I hope my buyers will leave me appropriate feedback upon receipt of their auction item. Doing so lets me know that the buyer has received their item and it also lets me know whether there were any problems.

If the seller has any buyer requirements that you don't meet, contact the seller for permission prior to placing a bid or using the "Buy It Now" feature. If you have computer or connection problems, please remember that you can access your eBay account through any computer with Internet access, such as those at a library or friend's house. You can monitor your bids from your My eBay page from any computer connected with the Internet.
