My name is Liz Hayes, and I would like to thank you for visiting my auctions!

The Spiderweb Grotto specializes in dolls, namely repaints and miniature, One Of A Kind (OOAK) sculpture.

Repaints are fashions dolls (usually Barbie or Tonner dolls) that have had all their factory paint removed using a solvent like Once Removed. After every trace of paint is gone, the creation process can begin. All details in the face, from the eyebrows to the irises, to the lips (and sometimes a sprinkle of freckles!) are hand painted using acrylic paints. It is a labor intensive process, but the results are rewarding and fun for me and doll collectors everywhere!

No one in our family has smoked, is smoking, or will smoke! Nothing I sell will be smoky unless noted in the description, and then only because when I bought it, the seller smoked and I didn't know it! :o}
