I am a member of the Beckley,WV Art Group, and the West Virginia Watercolor Society. I have earned awards on several of my works. I work in Pencil, Pen and Ink, Watercolor, Oils and Acrylics. i am presently working on some commissioned works. I have been painting off and on for about 8 years, but I am making an effort now to concentrate on doing more and honing my skills.
My husband and I have been in the ministry for 32 years and have lived in various areas of the USA...Ohio, Indiana, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and now W.Va. Both our parents are from the WV area, so we are kindof back to our roots. Though I definetly do MISS with a passion the Rocky Mts states! If WV is almost heaven , then Colorado and NM must be heaven!
I have two daughters, both married and one step granddaughter, and one granddaughter. I am 9 hours from them, so I don't see them very often. I also have two cats, Lady Sadie O'Grady, and Beans.

My husband and I have been married for soon to be 35 years (2006). We have two married daughters, a stepgranddaughter and a granddaughter that is just about the cutest thing I've seen! She is 20 months old.
I have several hobbies that I enjoy very much. One is music. I sing and play the piano and I love all styles of music, from Classical to Rock. Beethoven, to Bocelli, to Josh Groban to Mylon LaFevre and White Heart. (I"m telling my age here too...classic Christian Rock) My other hobby is Painting. I love working in Pen and Ink, Pencil, Acrylics, Oil and Watercolors. I have won many ribbons at Fairs for my work and Sold a few. My husband thinks I'd make more money if I'd just part with some I have hanging in my home! He is probably right...but I like looking at what I've done! I also enjoy reading. Mostly books on the History of the USA..Lewis and Clark and the western settlements. I've traveled around the country and have visited many national parks and historical sites and I find My country full of interesting stories and people. The greatest place on Earth!
