Orbit Videos:
Alternatively, you can just buy lights, zip ties, and satin cord and watch my videos below to assemble your very own ORBIT. If videos are not clear, I have written instructions below as well...
How-to Videos:
Written Instructions:
Step 1. Have at least two keychain rave lights, at least one small zip tie, plenty of black 1mm or 2mm black satin cord (you can pick this up at your local arts and crafts store). Detach the rings from the keychain lights as shown in the picture.
Step 2. Zip tie the two lights together as shown.
Step 3. Make sure the zip tie is pulled as tightly as possible so that the two keychain lights are straight and back to back as shown here.
Step 4. Cut/Snip off the excess zip tie.
Step 5. Make sure everything is tight and sturdy. You can also add an additional zip tie to the orbit for extra strength but this is not necessary.
Step 6. Cut and make two, 2-feet long satin cords.
Step 7. Insert one satin cord through both holes of the orbit and tie the loose ends together a couple of times. I have found three knots to be sufficient. Make sure it is tight and sturdy.
Step 8. Insert the other satin cord in through the opposite direction and repeat step 7. Make sure it is also tight and secured with at least three knots.
Step 9. Make sure the orbit looks like this.
Step 10. Take the keychain rings from earlier and attach them to the ends of the satin cords as shown here.
Advanced/Optional: When you are ready and understand the basic two keychain light orbits. You can make ones with four lights, or even six lights which I recommend because the colors are amazing!!!!!
