Over the upcoming
months please stop back often to see what I have up for auction. I've recently been diagosed with having ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this affliction. Though my spirits are good, it is becoming more difficult to work with my hobby projects, so the time has come to sadly part with most all of things I've enjoyed with such passion over the years. It
is simply amazing what, and how much, an individual can accumulate over the years.
The old saying rings so true "He who has the most toys, Wins!". It
is time to clean out the years of 'stuff', simply because one can have too
much 'stuff'. Some of the items you will find on my auctions are
Die Cast Vehicles of all sorts (Hot Wheels, Racing Champions, and others), Plastic Models (planes, ships, cars, trucks, military), Radio Control Vehicles (planes, vehicles, boats), Model Trains (Marx), Memorabilia (air show, airplanes, racing, and others), Childhood Toys,
Collectibles, and many other items.
My interests are quite vast. Anything that flies, floats, submerges, runs on wheels or
tracks, is really fascinating to me. My
most recent, but longstanding interest, is model trains. I have a small
collection of Marx that is slowly growing to eventually become an operating
layout someday. Thanks to fellow eBay'r, HarryMax for several fantastic
sales, but most importantly his advice that has helped in my preserving the
World of Marx. My background is in
Engineering~~which is helpful when I tinker with and restore my model
trains or work with other mechanical things. In one hobby of mine, I
consider myself a junior professional model builder. I can build em and win right along with the senior builders.
I am not a professional
collector of anything; therefore, I do not know package or item
grading. I do know that I enjoy what I have bought and it is time for
someone else to enjoy my interests. The prices I set are what I think the item should sell for. Many items are brand new, or something that hasn't been available for many years. I believe I price my items fairly so that you feel good about your purchase, and I feel good about the sale. As I had said, I cannot enjoy these things any longer, however, you can. Check back occasionally to see what
might be listed; you may want to place a bid on something that interests
you. Though watching an item nevers wins it, only placing a bid does. So here's a chance to win and own something possibly unique that you can enjoy. But it's also a chance to help me reduce the excess clutter that has accumulated.
