COLLECTIBLES LOVER IN SOUTHEAST IOWA Greetings Fellow Ebayers, I Would Have To Say That My Love For Collectibles Started In November Of 1967. That Was The Date That I Purchased My Very First Ever 45RPM Vinyl Record. That 7 Inch Single Was "YOU BETTER SIT DOWN KIDS" By CHER. I No Longer Have That 45 As It Got Worn Out From Thousands Of Plays. I Became An Avid CHER Fan & Began Collecting Magazines,Clippings,Photos And So On. Chers Early Records Brought My Attention To Other Great Recording Artists & I Have Collected Hundreds Of Albums By Various Artists. In The Late 1980s My Childhood Love For MICKEY MOUSE Resurfaced & I Began Collecting Mickey Memorbillia, To The Point That The Items Threatened To Take Over My Mobile Home. In 1990 I Began Selling Off Pieces Of That Collection At A Local Antique Mall. In Early 1992, Circumstances Forced Me To Put My Collections In Storage & They Have Remained So Until I Discovered Ebay. In 2004, While Visiting A CHER Fansite Online, I Came Across A Link That Said SHOP FOR CHER. I Clicked On The Link & It Brought Me To Ebay Listings For A Set Of SONNY & CHER Mego Dolls From The Mid 1970s. I Purchased Them Immediately After Registering As An Ebay User. I Was Hooked On Ebay From That Point On. Things That I Had Had As A Child Were Here & Could Be Gotten,In Some Cases,With Just A Click Of A Button. In June Of 2004 I Began To Think That Maybe I Had Items That People Might Want. I Began Selling Duplicate Copies Of CHER Record Albums That I Had Purchased Over The Years. The Response Was Fantastic. It Really Is Wonderful To Share These Items With Fellow Collectibles Fans, Who Have A Passion & Desire For Them. I Have Yet To Have A Negative Experience Either As A Buyer Or Seller.
