A new business-I'm having FUN

After retiring from a secretarial position I began volunteering as a guide in a historic home museum here in town. I help with the costumes,working with the decorative arts in the home, and best of all Christmas decorating. Along with a younger sister we have started a new business and we host lavish Victorian tea parties in this mansion. We also have ten different programs that we present to the public in Victorian costume. I love to sew period clothing and make the beautiful tea party hats that match. I am enjoying a second childhood! My wonderful husband of 37 years is very understanding and doesn't even mind that occasionally his new van is loaded with teacups and petticoats. Please watch my auctions for some exciting objects-I have a BIG attic that needs more room and some things just have to go on the auction block. I love people and have worked with the public all my adult life. I try to live by the "golden rule" and have found many rewards from this philosophy.
