My name is Tracee Murphy and I absolutely love painting in watercolor.  I am a self taught artist and I've been painting watercolors for the last 10 years. I'm a member of the South Texas Watercolor Society and I regularly attend watercolor classes from other local watercolor artists.  I really enjoy continuing to learn from other artists and it keeps me painting.

Watercolors are a passion of mine.  Art was always my favorite subject in school.  I have always enjoyed drawing, painting, and many other arts and crafts. I’ve been using my artistic talents ever since I was a little girl, as far back as I can remember.

I come from a family of very talented artists. My mom has influenced my interest in art, specifically watercolors, the most. I credit her for peeking my interest in watercolor and getting me involved with it. She has been painting watercolors for 20+ years.

I enjoy painting gifts for friends and family as much as I love selling my artwork. I like selling on eBay because I get a chance to have my art viewed and sold by many people who enjoy my style of watercolor.

I have lived in Corpus Christi, TX almost all my life. I love the beach and living on the coast; you will notice that I paint a lot of beach scenes, palm trees, sailboats, and everything else to do with living on the coast.
