Findings from our first glass hunt of the Spring

Hi! About me...Well, I am an artist of sorts, although I don't normally refer to myself as one...I just seem to have an eye for certain things I guess.  I get inspired by things that are already beautiful...flowers, trees, water, nature..my flower shop was called Nature's Gifts, so that gives you an idea!...My greatest creation is my daughter, who I am still molding :)

I discovered seaglass quite some time ago while searching for driftwood for my florals, and have been in love ever since. It totally amazes me how nature can take a broken piece of glass and turn it into something so beautiful! Searching for the perfect piece of glass is now one of my favorite hobbies, and I am at the beach every chance I get! As one of my good customers & fellow glass hunter put it.."it's better than prozac!"(she's hilarious)

 I'm a full-time mom now, but I still have to get my creative energy out or I'll go nuts-o...! I started making jewelry with my findings a few yrs. ago, trying to keep it as simple as possible, with the glass being the "shining star" of the design.

  Since my "baby" has now started school, I have more free time for treasure hunting and also to sell some of my jewelry and other things I come up with...I also make candles and occasionally paint, so you never know what I might have on here! Ebay is a great way for me to connect with people again until I get back out in the "real" world! It's a neat feeling to know that someone out in CA is wearing & loving a piece of glass that I found on Lake Erie! I've met lots of great, fun & super friendly people on ebay and hope to continue!
