I felt the lure of art as far back as I can remember. I am a self-taught watercolorist, my natural talent earned me the opportunities to illustrate for Glamour Magazine, Waterford Crystal, and the Los Angeles Times - all before I was 21 years old. I'm probably most widely recognized for my tropical underwater scenes and the depictions of vibrant seahorses, mermaids, pirates treasure and miles of magical reef fish. I am an avid snorkeler, and I travel widely, finding inspiration in locations as varied as Vietnam, Italy, and Hawaii, but I have a special affinity for Paris, which is my personal favorite. I am a Pasadena native, who now lives in Shell Beach, California, and have been fortunate to keep my work in demand among private collectors and galleries throughout the world.
