About Us       

        Welcome to the Illinois State Treasurer’s online auction of unclaimed property. The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for administering the Illinois Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act. Under this Act, banks and financial institutions are required to turn over the contents of abandoned safe deposit boxes to the office for safekeeping. If we are unable to return the items to their rightful heirs or owners, the Act provides that the contents be sold and the proceeds held for the heirs or owners. We are featuring this property on eBay this year for the first time, giving you the opportunity to bid on a wide range of items, including jewelry, coins, baseball cards and other collectible items. New property will be featured each week, and we encourage you to check out our auction pages frequently.

Listings
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.

Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
