Hi and Welcome!  Of course, you have already figured out that I am Brenda! I am a work-at-home Mom located in central Canada in the nation’s capital of Ottawa, Ontario.  I am an avid shopper and love to search for and find bargains. Now that my boys are older and busy with their own lives and high school, I have turned my attention to using my bargain-hunting skills to finding great buys for you!

I do not specialize in one type of merchandise because I simply cannot pass up any good buy and, therefore, you will find bargains in many categories in my auctions and in my store. These might include new and used items like brand name, designer clothing, vintage goods, collectibles, kitchenware, china, CDs, DVDs, toys, puzzles, games and books. Whatever theme you collect, I am might have something for you! I guess you might just say that I specialize in ‘stuff’!  Many of my new items are wonderful gift ideas.

When you shop at my auctions, please be assured that I am here, ready and willing to answer your questions or process your order. I always try to answer your questions quickly. I am also willing to combine items to help you save money on shipping.

Canadian customers will find combined shipping to be an amazing bargain! Often adding a second item to your parcel will increase the cost minimally, often by as little as $1. You could choose an item for everyone in your family and the cost of shipping might only be marginally more than the cost of shipping the first item.

Ottawa customers will find me more than willing to arrange a meeting for local pick up if their purchases are worth $10 or more and if they are willing to pay cash for their items. Because they do not have to pay for shipping, they are in the enviable position of being able to buy more for less!

United States customers can follow a simple formula for combined shipping. Just start with the highest shipping cost and add $3 for the second item, $3 for the third item and .50 cents for each additional item after that with no limit.

International customers can combine items for shipping but should note that rates jump quickly. For instance, the cost to ship two children’s t-shirts together may be the same or it may double, depending on the actual weight of the items. Please do not make any assumptions about combined shipping charges. I urge you to ask about the combined rates before bidding, as I do not want you to have any unpleasant surprises.

My priority is you, the customer and I think my feedback rating reflects that. I do want you to be happy. I always leave positive feedback when you have received and are happy with your item or when you leave positive feedback for me.

I do love hearing from people who are thrilled with their purchases but I also want to hear from you if you are not pleased so that I can do my best to fix the problem if I have made a mistake. I try to describe items fully, honestly and critically so that you know what you are buying. Remember, your satisfaction is my priority. Please contact me with any concerns you have before leaving feedback. I stand by my auctions with my 100 percent money-back guarantee. I am willing to give you a full refund, including shipping, if the item is not as described.  Otherwise, I am usually happy to take your item back and refund the purchase price. If I have not made a mistake in the listing, you will be responsible for all of the shipping charges.  For instance, if clothing does not fit, I will refund the purchase price (not the shipping) if you are willing to ship the item back to me at your expense. Occasionally, an exchange may be possible. However, you would be responsible for all shipping charges.

On the topic of payment, I am happy to accept Paypal, checks and money orders. I would appreciate hearing from you within five days and if need be, I am usually able to wait a bit for your payment. Please note that money orders must be international and cashable in Canada. If you choose to send a check, I will hold your item for ten business days in order to give the check time to clear at the bank.

I am also happy to wait for payment while you are still shopping at my auctions so that you can combine items and save money on shipping.  I do not have a time limit on this offer but would ask only that you let me know that you are still shopping.

Your item will ship on the business day after payment. If your payment is received Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, your parcel will be shipped the next business day, possibly even on the same day. If you pay for your item on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it will ship on Monday. Parcels traveling within Canada usually arrive within seven business days. Those traveling to the United States take approximately two weeks to arrive and international parcels generally arrive in twelve business days. Often delivery is faster than that but occasionally, it is slower. Please be patient, stay in touch and your parcel will no doubt show up. In the rare case when something does go astray, rest assured that your parcel is insured. Every item that I ship is insured. You may or may not be aware that insurance is often not included or available.

I have met many nice people through eBay. I love it when a happy customer returns and I love hearing your stories about the items you have purchased, what you collect and what it is that you are looking for. Hearing these stories makes selling on eBay rewarding and provides smiles not only to myself but also to my family and friends.
