My name is Jennifer. I have a wonderful
husband, and five beautiful children. I trained as a writer,
and have worked in the publishing industry for most of my career.
In the summer of 2003, I had some unexpected
health issues - especially for a woman in my early 30's. I haven't
fully recovered from my illness, and haven't been able to go
back to work outside the home as a result.
After hearing about how great eBay is from
various family members, I finally decided to give it a try in
early 2004. My father has been in the retail business my whole
life, and I feel like I have spent my life shopping. At first,
I thought I wouldn't like shopping where I couldn't have my
items instantly, but I soon became hooked on the thrill of the
auction!
To my husband's chagrin, I found "winning"
auctions extremely fulfilling (did I mention that I haven't
been able to work outside the home since mid-2003?).
I decided that I could combine my love
of shopping with my new found love of auctions, and help out
my family financially as well.
I began to sell children's clothes in April
2004, and I absolutely love what I do!
I have built a successful business on my
own, and have recently found even more success by starting affiliations
with two great organizations: The
