Cocoon was established in 1996 by Seref Ozen and Mustafa Gokhan Demir and has established itself as one of the premier resources in the world for collectors of tribal rugs, weavings and textiles.

 Istanbul has long been known as a crossroads of Asia, linking the ancient East with the modern West.
