Please visit my blog "Worldwide Military Medals ... and more" at
http://blogs.ebay.com/tsa-li. I provide tips and comments for beginner and intermediate medal collector. Some of the posts might apply to other areas as well so it might be worth it to see if this blog could apply top your area of collecting. I've also done a series of reviews and guides that could possibly be of interest to you.
Please consider joining the *Genealogy Corner* ebay group. If you would like a personal invitation, just contact me over eBay and I'll see that you're sent one. We hope to see you there!
Private seller German laws are applicable to my auctions. Taxes, import duties, custom fees, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer. If I am the buyer, I take responsibility for mine. See http://www.ebay.de for further information.
Please go to "Community" and click on "The Chatter" (January 2003 edition) for the lead article on my personal interest ("Steaming in Germany").
Due to a reduction of local German Postal services, mail is sent once a week. If you are sending me mail, I can pick it up once a week. Expect changes in postal delivery times based on current events.
German postal insurance is now available for all items I sell. See the Postage Rates from Germany table below for details. All items sent out have proof of mailing documentation (accepted by Paypal) automatically included in the price. Some items will require insurance to be paid by the buyer. Mailing options are available for posting from Belgium and/or The Netherlands as well (additional info below).
Business is not conducted on the Holidays listed above, Saturday, or Sunday. All holidays falling on a Tuesday automatically make Monday a holiday. All holidays falling on a Thursday automatically make Friday a holiday. Germany is 9 hours ahead of
ebay time.
Thank you for visiting-100 o/o Guarantee!
I try to maintain the highest standards possible. There is a standing policy of 100% satisfaction guaranteed or return the item (no reason required) for a full refund of your bid (notify me first via email within the first week of receipt and await instructions). Some items may have restrictions, see the item description. If postage is included in the bid price, a standard flat-rate of $15 will be subtracted for a return. If a replacement is preferred, this might not be possible since most items are one-of-a-kind. A feedback to me indicates that the transaction is complete and my last step is to provide your feedback which summarizes the total transaction. If I am the buyer, I post a positive feedback upon receipt of the item which indicates that the transaction is complete (all relevant questions are asked prior to placing a bid). All items are shipped from Germany. Exception: Special arrangements can be made for postal shipments from The Netherlands (Holland) for an additional $10 fee or from Belgium for an additional $20 fee, but the same postage cost.
You may correspond in English, German, Spanish, or French. I mainly try to provide seasonable collectibles and attempt to provide interesting items for each major holiday. I encourage you to contact me before placing a bid on any item so you are satisfied that this is what you want (or don't want). Close contact makes the best results! All items are truthfully described to the best of my ability. If you think I made a mistake, please point it out to me.
Throughout the year, I'll be listing some special offers (there will be an "*" in the title) for buyers and sellers who have left feedback.

Insurance is now available for all items at the rate of $2 plus $1 for each $5 you want insured. For example: If you want to insure a package for $100, the cost would be $2 + $20 (5/100 = $20), so the total would be $22. Postage can be included and the insurance value can be determined by the buyer. Yes, it's higher than the USA but at least it's now available for all items where it previously wasn't. The customs form will reflect the insured value.
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
