As a born collector from a family of collectors, it feels like the thrill of the hunt and the supply of surplus never ends! I have spent countless hours in antiques, second-hand, and thrift stores since I was a baby, so I have been exposed to nearly every aspect of collecting.
My collections include Nippon, Evening in Paris, Nancy Drew, vintage paper, and first edition novels. The others favor: antique toys and banks, militaria, pocket knives, petrolania, Chevrolet advertising items, Heisy, Fenton, depression glass, and cookbooks. You name it and one of us collects it.
This is a small operation. I am not in business, just trying to downsize our accumulated treasures so we can buy more on eBay! Still, my commitment is to be honest, professional, and to provide excellent service to my buyers.
We are voracious readers and eager consumers of movies and music. I usually recycle books, music, & movies on Half.com. (Check out the best kept secret at eBay--Half.com!) Everything else makes it to eBay.
We are also dog lovers. The pack includes a Scottish Terrier, a Lhasa Apso, and a Miniature Schnauser. My life changed forever when a rescued Tibetan Terrier, a breed I knew nothing about, came to live with me. Before long, I realized he had serious behavioral problems. At one point I was afraid he would have to be euthanized. In desperation, I went looking for help. I now have a fairly well behaved little guy. His behavior transformation has been the result of humane, compassionate, positive training techniques. No prong collars, no punishment, no bullying or fear-based tactics. Reactivity in dogs and training with them has become a special interest of mine, and from time to time I offer products related to that.
