I am an eBay Selling Assistant. The "U" in the name refers to all the individuals that bring me their treasures to sell, because it is their great variety of items that I sell! I hope this will allow me to offer an even broader spectrum of items to the Ebay marketplace, while helping people in my local community to make money and clean out items they no longer use.
I sell on Ebay as my job due to rheumatoid arthritis and multiple other health issues that make holding a regular job difficult. It has definitely been a wonderful experience to be able to run my own business this way! As you may imagine, medical bills can really strain a regular family's finances, and it is wonderful that I am able to make a financial contribution to my household as well as stay home with my daughter. I started selling cross stitch books and supplies online in 1999, and boy, have things grown from there! This is my newer I.D. that I use to sell clothing, craft supplies , vintage knick knacks, jewelry, and toys, but just about anything can turn up on my auctions! My other Ebay user ID is OutLoudArtNBeads, which I now use exclusively for my handcrafted jewelry and jewelry supplies business. I strive to provide accurate shipping quotes on all my auctions, and to keep shipping cost reasonable for my bidders. I am happy to combine auctions when at all possible. The only occassions I may not be able to do so are for very large or very fragile items, and I will mention that in the auction listings for those items. I am not responsible for items once I hand them over to the Post Office, however, I am glad to help fill out paperwork to try to help track down missing packages or file insurance claims.
