Vansport Ltd is a UK company registered at Companies House, registration number 05314419. Although only registered as a Limited Company since 1st January 2005, we have been trading since March 2000 under the name ‘Euroglass Windscreens’ (we also still trade under that name for the glass replacement side of our business, please see below for more information.)
Our Vat (tax) registration number is GB 825 4860 16, we supply a Vat receipt with all purchases. If purchasing from outside the UK and you are Vat/Tax registered, a tax unpaid invoice will be provided upon request and verification of your tax registration details.
It is our aim to comply completely with the Internet Trading Regulations and in addition to these minimum standards will endeavour to ensure your complete satisfaction, we have many satisfied customers (see feedback) and hope that you will become one of them.
Unfortunately we have been the victims of scam artists, non payers, feedback abuse, delivery scams and p**s takers, it is therefore become a neccessity to impose these conditions, please read them carefully and be sure that you agree to them before purchasing from us..........
PROTECTION: To comply with eBay/PayPal Buyer Protection Programmes, and for your protection, all items will be sent via insured courier unless stated otherwise, glass items are not insurable by any courier but we have an extremely good record to date and all will be packed extremely well, optional insurance is available from us, at additional cost, upon request.
DELIVERY:SCHEDULE Our aim is to despatch items as soon as possible, occasionally this is not possible, for example, a: when the item is not in stock at our warehouse and has to come from the manufacturer or other supplier outside the UK, b: where the item has to be modified for a particular application or c: other unusual events outside our control. Our standard delivery schedule means that your item should be despatched 2-3 working days after the working day that your order is received, this is usually sent via next day courier, however there are occasions as, stated above, when this is not possible, therefore we must ask you to please allow 7-10 days for your item to arrive. If we are unable to get the item(s) to you within 10 days you will be given the option (on request) of cancelling your order and receiving a full refund or waiting for an agreed delivery date.
DELIVERY:RECEIPT All packages must be examined thoroughly on delivery and signed for by the purchaser or their designated agent, damaged items may be accepted and signed for as damaged or refused and returned to us via the courier. Damages or shortages must be reported to us as soon as possible and, in any case within 24 hours of the time entered on the couriers delivery note, no claims will be entered into unless these conditions are strictly adhered to.
DELIVERY ADDRESS: All quoted delivery charges are for MAINLAND UK ONLY, for offshore addresses please contact us for a quote. Deliveries of items valued at £50 or over (inc Vat) will be sent to your CONFIRMED registered eBay/PayPal address only, exceptions to this will be considered on an individual basis and then on application only if received in writing or from your registered eBay/PayPal email address. (Proof/I.D may be required). If paying by Credit or Debit Card through our own terminal, our system will check your registered postcode and house/flat number as registered with your card issuer (this is the address that your statements are sent to) so please ensure that this is correct - we are unable to despatch items without this information being confirmed.
FEEDBACK: Due to abuse of the system and customers generally not bothering to leave us feedback, we, along with many other genuine eBay sellers, have decided to take the following steps; If you have a genuine complaint contact us before leaving feedback as we will always attempt to rectify the situation, after all, if you buy something from a shop you take it back to that shop to give them the chance to put it right..... you don't go straight to court or Trading Standards etc, please extend us the same courtesy, if negative feedback is left we will not refund or replace until said negative feedback is withdrawn. We will leave feedback for you only when you have done so for us. This does not affect your statuatory rights in any way, it is purely an attempt to use the system as it was intended, we are proud of our high feedback and Power Seller status and aim to continually improve on them with your help.
RETURNS: If the item you purchased is faulty, or significantly not as described in the listing, please contact us for return instructions before sending to ensure swift attention. In this instance we will refund or replace the item and all postage. If you change your mind or simply no longer require the item, please also contact us for instructions as above. In this instance we will refund the cost of the item only (not postage). Returned items must be received back in the original packaging and of re-saleable quality. Items will not be refunded if they are received back, without authorisation, damaged due to bad packing by the customer or otherwise unsaleable. We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking/handling charge (subject to a £2.00 minimum) at our discretion in certain circumstances.
WARRANTY: Warranties and/or Guarantees are that of the manufactures and must be directed to them except where stated to the contrary.
TRADE PRICES: Vansport attempts to sell everything at Trade prices and is a 'Trade' supplier, by purchasing from us you are declaring that you are a trade customer and agree to abide by these terms.
PICTURES: All listing pictures are for representation and illustration only and may not be of the actual item listed, wherever possible we will show the actual item or a very similar item. If you require a picture of the actual item, please email and we will send one to you.
