I figured I'd do a quick write up for now as I embark on my Ebay journey.

I've actually been wanting to start ebaying long ago but figured I'd get to addicted and would be too distracted!

Well... A recent turn of events has embarked me on this adventure, so here I am!
I'm a photographer/graphic designer.
I was hired by a friends grandmother to shoot (and only shoot) some valuable antiques she's been collecting for well over 70 years! The most wonderful woman you could meet! She's been storing these things for ages and just decided to make some room.
I'm getting that she wanted to make sure these items were taken care of in her control rather than some day ending up in an opportunists hands and her family would be robbed of the true values.
There were antique dealers knocking down her door for some of these things, but she insisted on Ebay so all the world could see them and have a chance at them! So.. I shot the items. 1 pic of each for we only had a budgeted time. literally 100's of items! Well... after this her family was supposed to post them... then another trusted fellow.. all of which just got to busy to take on this cumbersum task! Well? I really felt for this womans needs. Once researching I discovered that it is no easy task for even the avid ebayers to take on! However? I figured I'd try! I even re-shot each item multiple times, for this is what seemed to be effective for marketing your items. One thing I do fear is the lack of creditability (with no Ebay History) for such a huge responsibility on such precious items! If there's anything I can do to assure and instill confidence in product/service please be kind enough to let me know!

The eBay me...

I posted a couple of pics One is a shot of me skiing in the Canadian Rockies.
I use what is called a "sitski" because I have some mobility issues.
I do get around though! ; ) The other? I sometimes venture downtown Ottawa and do chalk murals in the Market. Ottawa Is the capital of Canada (for those of you who don't know) It's one of the biggest tourist destinations in the nation. The city loves when I do these because it can be quite the tourist attraction. (I make a fair bit of coin too!) Some ignoramus think I'm homeless and they can be quite rude or insultive. Cheers!
