who's vintagesteph?
Welcome and thanks for visiting! I'm Stephanie, a long time collector of fabulous vintage stuff (mostly textiles and eclectic cool things) gardener, antique home restorer, and appreciator of all things beautiful.
My family heritage is Italian, with a rich history of women who created amazing foods and gorgeous textiles for home and family. (Most likely, I'm cooking something good for my twin boys so if you're interested, ask and I'll email you the recipe!) Yes, I just said twins (our finest creation, ever!). While a challenge, they're wonderful and we're all doing just great!
why child and home fashions?
Simply stated, I LOVE KIDS! And vintage, fabric, laces, textiles, rugs, the shabby chic/paris apartment/cottage look, and anything that's funky and cool. I like expressing myself with decorative elements in my home. Finding fun styles for myself and my family brings me great pleasure. I love my kids to look adorable in european clothes and tried and true american finds. (In my auctions, you'll see my favorites: babygap, hanna anderson, gymboree, cow & lizard, coccoli, sucre d'orge, petit bateau, zutano and lit pour trois to name several!)
