We are having fun restoring our new old 1915 house, the Dell Homestead House, circa 1915. Our home is a "Folk Victorian Farmhouse" that was built by Simeon Dell, Alachua's first PostMaster. His grandfather founded Newnansville, which later moved and became Alachua! We love our local history and our Historic District buildings.
If you are ever in the Alachua area of NorthCentral Florida near Gainesville, be sure to come to our Main Street Historic District.
