Hi! My name is William Battles. I've been selling on Ebay since 1999. I've been collecting stamps for about 25 years. I currently live in Albany, NY, but have lived in Maryland and in Kentucky for a short time. I use to be a school teacher, but I'm currently a stamp dealer here and I work as an archaeologist when seasonal work is availible. My last major projects were the Secaucus, NJ burial removal, eastern shore MD/DE, Vermont and soon will be working in Indiana.
Some of the ways I handle my business here:
1. I will describe the stamps and items to my best of abilities and will provide the best pictures I can of them. Email me if you do not see a picture or need more information. If I make a mistake, I will correct it.
2. After the auction is over, I will send an invoice with totals for the items plus postage within a few hours after the auction is over. If you do not see a message, notify me and I'll resend it as email servers do foul up.
3. I will use real stamps on all packages to you no matter the size or cost of mailing - no meter strips! I try to use current commemoratives occasionally mixed with unusual stamps from the past.
4. I will use protective materials to protect all shipments and mark items "do not bend".
5. I will combine multiple lots together to save the buyer postage.
6. I will only charge the buyer the amount the post office charges for postage. I do not and will not charge the buyer for shipping materials.
7. I will leave all buyers feedback once I receive payment. Feedback is my means to notify you that payment was received and item was shipped.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
