Is bidding open internationally?
No, the bidding is only open to the continental United States and Canada.
Once I've won the auction, what happens next?
Once the auction has ended, a representative of either The National Wildlife Federation or Children Now (depending on which charity is listed under the item description) will be contacting the winning bidder via e-mail to congratulate him or her as well as to confirm final payment amount. The corresponding charity must receive full payment within 4 business days of the close of the auction.
How can I pay for my Smallville Charity Auction item?

Is there any sales tax?
Yes, sales tax will be charged based on the address the item is being shipped to. The final total to include sales tax will be provided to the winning bidder upon the close of the auction.
Is this purchase tax deductible?
The answer will depend on many factors, so please consult your personal tax advisor. Generally speaking, only amounts paid over and above the fair market value of an item received from a charitable organization would constitute a charitable contribution and therefore be tax deductible. Because the amount paid for an item in an auction usually is equivalent to the fair market value, generally no tax deduction is allowable.
How is shipping handled?
Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, a division of Time Warner Entertainment Company, L.P. (“WBITD”), will pay shipping. All items will be shipped UPS, therefore the winning bidders must provide a physical address (no PO Boxes!), and corresponding phone number and be aware that a signature will be required for delivery. WBITD will use the winner’s email address, name, physical address and phone number for purposes solely in connection with the fulfillment of this auction.
