 My
name is Rich Brady, a Mechanical Engineer and Green Belt in Lean/6 Sigma. I
left school to complete a Modern Apprenticeship at a local Electro Optics firm,
in St. Asaph North Wales. It provided the Defense Industry (Foreign and Domestic)
with complex Avionic and Infantry equipment. I specialized in the manufacture
of Infra-Red Components and quickly moved through the internal ranks to positions
within the Quality and Operation Planning Departments.
I moved to a much smaller firm that Designs, Builds and
Consults on equipment used in the Core Analysis and Rock Mechanics
fields, liaising with Customers, Suppliers, Engineers and Academics
on a Global basis. I didn't really settle at either firms and ended
my most recent contract in May 2007.
I traveled to Australia for a couple of months with my
brother, Paul; taking in the sights and catching up with relatives.
I used this time to think about the next potential step in my career.
My parents established their business, Denbigh
Army Surplus, almost 20 years ago and decided that the website and eBay
Shop was in dire need of a revamp. On my return to the UK, they offered
me a position within the business that would help them and give me more time
to find the perfect job. Since starting in August 2007, I have immersed myself
in Actinic Catalog, Macromedia and html. eBay Shop visits are
increasing every month, with the best 30 day period on record in October. A
fresh, new website, with online purchasing was launched in November and I am
now doing something that I absolutely love...
As well as Desiging and Developing Websites I have created RANK, my eBay Shop to hone and display my html and marketing skills
