Hello and Aroo!
I have been an artist and designer for over 35 years and have been selling my art on ebay since 2003. Thank you to all my patrons and friends - doggie folk really are the best! To see more of my work, feel free to click on the link to your left to take a peek at my online portfolio. When not at my art easel, I can be found at the computer designing websites for clients or answering email from friends. With one foot in the techie world and the other planted firmly in whimsy and art, it's an amazing and interesting combination but one that (hopefully!) brings the best to my patrons and clients.

My Artwork
I have a house full of pets, a Scottie girl, a rescued Scottie boyo, a Rat Terrier, kitties, and at one time, a green Anole lizard. With all the barking, meowing, chirping and ...um, staring going on, it's a wonder I get any work done at all!
The inspiration for all of my art comes from tales I am told by fellow animal lovers or from the antics of my own furry crew! Once you begin looking at the world with a whimsical eye, nothing is the same...even the rustle of leaves on a chilly fall day makes me think of kittens playing. A full moon puts me in mind of wee beasties flying over it!
Like many artists, my studio is a jumbled mess of papers and inks, canvas and paints, brushes and tools and...in my case, lots of pets hanging about! Somehow, I manage to make sense of it all. I start by sketching a loose draft of my subject, then, depending on my mood and the surface, I will use pen and ink over a watercolor wash or acrylic or oil paints on stretched canvas or wood items like boxes, footstools, cabinet doors or even small jewelry. I like pen and ink for the details I can work into my art but acrylics are fast drying which is why you'll see so many acrylic paintings for sale here on ebay (wink wink, nudge nudge). My favorite medium is oils...I can get some wonderful shading and effects with oil paints! They just take longer to dry so when time is a concern, I stick to acrylics.
Again, welcome and thank you so much for your support!
I'm old enough now to have hit some bumps in the road of life...but overall, life is GOOD, and made more so when in the company of good dogs and good friends. So thanks for collecting my work. I get warm fuzzies knowing you are enjoying something I made!

Carousel Art Limited Edition Lithograph (oils) - sold out

Meet Big Mack, a 9 year old silver brindle adopted boyo, quite possibly the biggest Scottie gent I have ever seen.
He resembles an oversized Teddy Bear or a rather portly gremlin when he does his "sit up and hug me trick"! Mack is a real sweetie pie and has made himself my little shadow boy, following me everywhere as I work and graciously allowing himself to be an art model!
He has totally stolen my heart (though Merry will always be mumma's girl and the Queen of the household and she lets Mack know it!).
