I am honest & I do not cheat people. I am alot of things such as - forgetful (ebay related mostly), I tend to procrastinate,I am somewhat (& even more so at certain times) unorganized (also ebay related)and/or a scatterbrain (again ebay related lol), but I am honest. If there seems to be a problem, try contacting me first before leaving not so nice feedback. The few negatives I have are mostly from new users who didn't ask me to fix the problem before leaving it. If they had there would have been no need to leave it. I would have fixed it. I am more than willing to fix the problem if I make a mistake. If it's a case of buyers remorse then that's different. Here is a classic case of buyers remorse.
I had a lady buy a vase. It stated the size clearly. She later e-mailed me and told me she didn't realize it was so small and wanted to either trade or get a refund. It was not my fault and I told her first of all, I stated the size clearly. There were only 2 short sentences in the description & one was the size. Second of all I was selling it for someone else and I do not have anything else to trade even if I was willing to which I wasn't. I do not collect glassware and no I was not willing to end up in the hole because she didn't read it right or missed it somehow (how she could have done that is beyond me if she read the description). It was right there and very hard to miss. She should have read it thoroughly before bidding. Worse of all she sells herself on ebay and despite this she still left me a neutral feedback. Being a seller you'd think she'd know better. Anyways that is what I call buyers remorse. That I will not fix because it was not my mistake
If it's my fault then i'm more than willing to fix the problem.I am always willing to work things out if at all possible. And please be nice when you do. I appreciate honesty but I do not care for rudeness. A nice e-mail will get far better results than a rude one ever will. I am very easy going and easy to work with provided you are the same to me in return.
Also I have been known to mess up here and there-things like, forget something (if this is the case a friendly reminder would work very well) ,temporarily misplace, drop and/or break and generally make mistakes while filling orders. I am only human and it's just me doing it and as with all humans we are prone to make mistakes (and I have my fair share of them!!). If I have already done this to yours please let me so know so I can work on fixing it.
I sell alot of books & get alot of e-mails asking where peoples books are. Here is some helpful information about media mail.
Media mail is 4th class mail. They use it as filler for the higher classes of mail shipments which means it can go any number of ways. It can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 months. Not often does it take two months but it has happened before.
I now print my labels using paypal. With preprinted labels they don't scan them when they pick them up which is a sore point with me but not much I can do about it. It won't show anything until it passes through a postal processing center or it gets delivered. Makes you wonder why they bother with it at all doesn't it? Seems like it's just as easy to scan them when they are sent as it is to do it when they are delivered but like I said not much I can do about it.
If your packages are not there in 30 days then I can file an insurance claim-provided they were insured. The post office won't do anything until it's been 30 days. If it's not here within the 30 day time period let me know & i'll start a claim. But chances are it'll get there before then. I've only had a few packages not make it in 8 years (that's not counting the ones the ones I am refering to on the auction page . They may go the slow scenic route but they almost always get there.
Selling on ebay is much harder than people think it is. You can't even begin to understand how hard until you have done it for a year or two and the novelty of it wears off a little. It's fun and a definite unique experience I agree, but it's also alot of hard work and alot to keep track of and I am the only person doing the packing listing shipping etc most of the time.
Also I prefer that you go thru the ebay checkout so I have your shipping address available & easily accessible when I need it. Saves me having to e-mail you to ask you for it if I should misplace an envelope or accidentally file it in the wrong folder which is a bad habit of mine lately due to it being so full lol.
