Selling on eBay is something that we threatened to do for a couple of years and just was afraid that we were doomed techno-feebs. Our weekend passions are auctions, estate sales, flea markets and garage sales. Sometimes we just take off with no destination in mind and explore shops, and thrift stores in Small Town, USA. Over the years we have developed a knack for bargains that we have resold at our own yard sales. We now enjoy eBay, both selling and buying, and the bit extra it brings in. Recent finds are a beautiful antique crocheted bedspread and a box of old and unusual tools waiting for a bit of cleaning.
Life for us in one way has slowed way down since all of the kids are gone from home but we have more time to "collect" all sorts of things. The keepers are horse and pony planters, vintage marbles, electric insulators, and blown glass animals. Sharing our finds through eBay is very fun and rewarding. Genealogy is another passion and all that goes with digging roots and climbing trees as well as trapsing around in many areas. Because of this we have more old photos, postcards, letters and documents than the usual household. It is the old stuff that hold our interest.
