How much is shipping one of your Diaper Cake, Towel Cakes or Diaper Wreaths? All orders are shipped in a new weight tested box with all new packaging to insure that your order is received neat and clean. Creations may weigh between 2lbs. and 20lbs. depending on the item ordered. YDD uses the eBay calculator to calculate the actual shipping charge placed on all UPS Ground Shipments. If shipping for your location is not provided, please use the contact seller button to request an estimate.
How fast will my Diaper Cake, Towel Cake or Diaper Wreath order arrive? When you place your order, your creation is placed in line to be designed (after payment is received). There may be as few as 2 cakes ahead of yours or there may be as many as 30 cakes in front of yours.
Orders on average are designed and shipped out within 10 business days, although average design and ship times can very based on the season and time of year. It then takes another 1-5 days for DHL to deliver your Ground package. You will be contacted if for any reason there will be a delay in shipping. Custom and specialty orders may take up to if not more than 2 weeks longer. Please use the contact seller button on any YDD auction listing for an estimated delivery time on custom orders.
Taxes: Residents living in California are subject to an 7.75% sales tax on all Sewing, Embroidery and Serging Machines. As well as all custom and hand made creations. This tax will be applied automatically as you checkout and is noted on each listing. California law now requires California eBay sellers to charge taxes on ALL items shipped or purchased within California. However, YDD does not charge taxes on smaller items such as baby coupons, gift certificates, previously owned clothes, etc.
Premium Service... YDD Premium Service puts your creation next in line to be designed. If there are 25 orders before yours, you will have your order pushed to the front of the line and it will be designed next (usually within 12-24 hours of your order). With Premium Service, your order will also be shipped via DHL ground or DHL 2nd Day Air (whichever quotes the faster delivery speed). You should receive your order within 3-5 business days. Premium service is available for an additional fee of $20. This fee will get your order designed and shipped within 24-48 hours in most cases. To add Premium Service, please view the Premium Service listing within the YDD store. Please use the Premium Service option for EACH creation needing to be rushed.
Express Service... YDD Express service puts your order next in line like the regular Premium Service, but rather than DHL Ground or 2nd Day, your order will be shipped via DHL Next Day. This is the fastest service available and in many cases, you will have your order delivered the very next day if ordered before 8am Pacific Time. Express Service has an Expedited service charge of $45. To add Express Service, please view the Express Service listing within the YDD store. Please use the Express Service option for EACH creation needing to be rushed.
APO/FPO Shipping: YDD ships via USPS for APO/FPO addresses. Your Diaper DayZ is unable to estimate the shipping times or track deliveries for APO/FPO orders due to the U.S. Military handling the final stages of delivery. Please
contact YDD for correct shipping charges to APO/FPO addresses. Please be sure that the "Ship to Address" sent is accurate and complete to ensure a quick delivery.
Damage Indicator Warnings: YDD no longer ships via UPS!!! We now ship ALL high valued items (with a value of $1000 or more) with what is called a Drop 'N Tell Damage Warning. This is to prevent the carrier from carelessly handling these very costly parcels. Your job as a good eBayer is to be absolutely sure that the warning has not gone off and that the package has not been mistreated (please contact YDD before your package has delivered if you do not know how to tell if the indicator has gone off and we will explain). If the Indicator shows shock damage, open the package in front of the driver BEFORE you sign for the package - the driver must have your signature so don't feel shy about asking them to wait while you test to make sure there has been no damage. The whole point of this indicator is to insure the carrier is careful when shipping and to have them step up when a claim is filed. Pictures in the case of a damaged parcel is our best friend!
International Shipping: YDD can ship Internationally as well. International shipments have a larger shipping fee and slower delivery times than orders within the US. Please allow at least 10 business days for International shipments to arrive to give them time to pass through customs. International shipping is available for an additional charge. Please see the individual auction for a shipping quote or use the contact seller button for a quote. International customers are responsible for Customs charged by their country.
Refused Deliveries: If a package is refused, the customer will be responsible for all shipping and refusal fees as well as a 10% restocking fee.
Payments: For customers’ convenience, YDD is proud to offer a range of payment options. YDD accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Debit cards, Google Checkout and PayPal. Simply adding products to your cart, selecting the ‘buy now’ option, and entering your shipping information will bring you to a SSL secured page so you can enter your credit card information.
For your safety and security, YDD requires that you include your Name (as it appears on your card), account number, expiration date, and Card Verification Number (CVN). The CVN is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your (Discover, Visa, MC) card. It appears after and to the right of your card number. The American Express verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
If you would like to pay via cashiers check, money order, business or personal check, please go through the checkout process and print out your order page. We will hold your order pending receipt of your payment up to 10 days. Send your payment along with a copy of your order to the address included in your invoice.
Please note, no order will be shipped until your payment has cleared. Personal & business checks will be put on hold until cleared (about 10 days). There is a $25.00 fee on all dishonored checks.
Returns, Refunds, Exchanges: If you wish to return an item, you must
contact YDD within two days of the receipt of your item. Returned items must be received in the original, unopened packaging within 14 days to guarantee a refund. If the package has been opened, the package will be refused by YDD and a refund will not be given. For that reason, please be sure to view the description, pictures and video (if included) carefully to see the condition of the product being sold. There is a 10% restocking fee for all accepted returns (unless the return is an error of YDD). Shipping charges are non-refundable, and items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund. You will be issued credit back the way your payment was made for the remaining funds. Returned items must be in new, unused, unwashed, unopened (shipped in packaging) condition. Return mailing expense is the customer's responsibility.
No refund will be given on orders that must be delivered by a specific date. Please remember that the average order can take 5 days to be designed (or more) plus the shipping time. The returned order package must be unopened. Shipping both ways are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund. Returns to YDD should be sent via UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS with Delivery Confirmation and FULL insurance to ensure the package is received safely by YDD. Personalized items cannot be returned for exchange or refund. If a personalizing error was caused by Your Diaper Dayz, the personalized item will be replaced at no additional charge. Simply contact YDDwithin two days of the receipt of your item. YDD will arrange shipping for you at no charge.
If an exchange is desired, contact YDD within two days of the receipt of your item. All postage for exchange will be at the expense of the customer. In other words, postage to ship the items back to YDD and for YDD to ship the new items to the customer is at the expense of the person requesting the exchange and will be ACTUAL shipping and handling (not the flat rate when purchased). Exchanged items must be in new condition with unopened packaging.
Damaged Goods: YDD is unable to offer a refund on damaged goods. All packages with a value of $250 USD or more will come with a Signature Confirmation. If an item arrives damaged, please note to the driver the damage or REFUSE the delivery and contact YDD ASAP. If there is no sign of damage on the outside of the package, the item must be signed for. Customers must sign for their package(s) before the carrier can deliver.
All items $249.99 or, less will be shipped with delivery confirmation.
Sometimes, smaller items can be shipped without insurance. In this case, insurance is optional & at the customers digression. Please know that if no insurance is purchased, it is at the customers risk.
PLEASE NOTE: Diaper Cakes and Diaper Wreaths may not always be as pictured on the YDD site, but they will be comparable and will be based on inventory at the time.
