If u came for custom figure or u just lookin, U came to the right place. PPl like custom figure because they are 1 of a kind & they never came out of production. All ideas & work r all mine. Never had help & never will. I only do Mcfarlane toys for custom, i started custom makin for myself coz when Mcfarlane started advertising his figures in spawn.com it looks so perfect, but when the figure came out of the store, same figure but different standard, it's not as perfect as the pics from spawn.com. So i have to do some changes.
I don't custom figure to make money. Yes it does make a profit & i make money. but i don't custom for money. I do it for the fun of it and for the enjoyment of the buyer.
Custom making is hard especially if ur making & selling it for profit. U have to surpass the original design in order for it to sell for profit. How do u know if u surpass the original design? If u sold a figure higher than the original design that's when u know u surpass it. If ur goin to custom a figure, U have to have a solid idea on how u want the figure to look like. It's best to stick with that idea from the beginning of custom makin until u finish otherwise theres a stong probability that u might just end up destroying the figure.
I broke a lot of action figure b4 i perfected the custom makin business. I don't had a background on art, I never taken any thing related to art. but my work is 1 of a kind. I always challenge mcfarlane design & color. See my feedbacks ppl like & buy them. They r perfectly done. Some of them come back & buy again. It's all about practice, careful planning & vision. Every Custom figure i made i learned something new.
Custom figures r good for display in ur room & also if u own a Trading Card Game (TCG) store or a comic book store, I've seen some TCG & comic book store that have custom figures up for display, not for sale, just for display & they attract customers.
Working Crazzzzzyyy Hours custom figs is gonna be less & less
