From an engineering background my family have a strong links to the cycle car and motorcycle trade in and around Coventry. My father spent 36 years bulding Standard Triumph car engines My mother worked for Humber, Daimler Dunlop and Jaguar. Uncle's and aunts worked for Rudge Jaguar Hillman Rootes Massey Ferguson. At one stage prior to the second world war every member of my fathers family worked for Siddley cars my grandmother even worked in the canteen. I am an apprenticeship served precision engineer  having served my "time" at Coventry Gauge and Tool.   I have a keen interest in things mechanical and am restoring a 1906 Ransom - Sims & jefferies Steam Traction Engine ( I wish I owned It)  I am part way through an Austin 10 restoration Which due to family commitments I shall be listing on ebay . The car is complete but unfinished I need the space so will slowly be listing the component parts I am happy to help sourcing tools and will help where I can with information to help you get the correct tool.
