My new Watchmaking Instructor

A PROFESSIONAL WATCHPRINCE CAN KISS A SLEEPING WATCH WAKE IT UP. I'M LEARING

SEE FAIRYTALES DO COME TRUE

I chose my ebay name AMATEUR-WATCHPRINCE because of an ad for a watch listed as "wants to run just needs a little help". I thought to myself some watches take as much as 2 days to get all the problems solved clean oil and time and some need hard to find and expensive parts. It seemed to me that it doesn't sound like "just a little help" I thought what it really needed was a watchprince to give it a kiss and with a little magic it would wake up.  Since that time I have been reading books on magic and alchemy but so far I am still using old fashioned mechanical work and my new computerized timing machine to get watches in great condition. But I am learning and one day I will be able to do it with magic.

RETURN POLICY* I offer a return for refund within seven days of receiving the item if the item is not as stated in the ad. FULLY SERVICED MEANS taken apart completely including the cap jewels and mainspring and cleaning and oiling then putting the watch back together and timing with the timing machine.

RESTORED MEANS restoration of the case and dial is done when along with a FULL SERVICE only. Restored Yellow Gold Cases Have a Light Gold Plating Over the gold filled.  Sometimes the case and dial are good enough condition and don't need restoration. However doing a restoration brings a watch to really nice looking condition and is a costly procedure. Polishing and Light Gold plating (generaly about 1 micron or less) usually cost $15.00 based on $870.00/oz gold and is included in restoration.  5 micron plating is available but (not included unless stated as 5 micron plating in the ebay ad description) It cost an extra charge of $65.00 and takes 1 to 2 weeks extra based on $870.00/oz gold which is supposed to last 6 months to 2 years based on the amount of wear and the amount of acid in your skin. When I have a watch which warrants use of this thick of plating. I will mention this in the ebay ad DESCRIPTION if the watch has the heavier plating. It may help to understand the reason for the price of the watch.
