| I have been a creative person all my life. When I was growing up I was fascinated by art and various crafts, including Painting, Jewelry, Weaving, Tie Dye and Batik, and Pottery. I attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, to study Ceramics with internationally known artist Regis Brodie. At Skidmore I also studied Painting, Drawing and Silk screen. After college I worked as a production potter but after a number of years I burned out. At that time I became interested once more in Tie Dye and other fabric arts.
Andybears Tie Dyes is a small operation, I work out of my home. I make T-Shirts of course, and I also have started to branch out into sports shirts, Dress shirts, and other clothing. Lately I have been experimenting with Silk Scarves and I plan to put these in my Ebay Store soon. |

| My other creative obsession is with Music. I sing, play lead guitar and harmonica. A veteran of many rock concerts, I especially love the music of the Grateful Dead. Therefor I have seen many fine examples of the art of the Dye, and music has been an inspiration in my visual work. I currently play with a Jamband in Upstate NY; The Green Mountain Pranksters, and, of course, have designed a T-shirt for the band, soon to be offered on Ebay.
