My name is "Joy". My husband, Charles and I live in Citrus Heights, California, approximately 20 miles east of Sacramento. We live in a great place. We are two2hours from San Francisco, on the coast, or two hours from Lake Tahoe in the Sierras. We have been married for almost 55 years and have 3 sons, 2 grandsons, 2 step-grandsons and a grand-daughter.
My son encouraged me to try E-Bay as a hobby after I gave up my four year volunteer job as publisher of an eight page newsletter. I have always been somewhat of a collector...I hate to throw things away. Some of my collections include miniture chairs, swans, plates, lady figurines, sheet music, books, greeting cards and various other items. I started collecting when I was about 13 with a collection of perfume bottles. Now it is time to downsize and E-bay gives me a chance to eliminate things, knowing someone else wants them. I really enjoy the interaction with other e-bayer's and the feedback system. I have recieved many great feedbacks. I enjoyed going to E-Bay Live last June and plan to go again this coming June.
