• Apart from listings where immediate payment is required, payment is to be received within 2 days of auction end

• If ANY of the above two conditions is NOT met, we have the rights to re-list the item or offer the item to second highest bidder, and file an Unpaid Item Report with eBay

• If you live locally within Melbourne and would like to arrange pick up, you must let us know PRIOR to bidding.  Otherwise, request for pick up will not be entertained.

There are SO many fakes being sold on eBay and it just breaks my heart to see people paying hundreds of dollars on a fake bag which is worth nothing and probably costs no more than a couple of dollars at markets in Asia.  If you are looking to buy designer items on eBay and don't want to be burned with a fake, here are a few tips for you:

• DO YOUR RESEARCH.  Familiarize yourself with the item you are buying and know what the authentic ones should look like.

• When a price seems too good to be true, most of the time it really is too good to be true.

• BEWARE OF STOLEN PHOTOS.  A lot of scammers copy photos from other sellers' auctions to use in their own auctions.  Of course, what you will get is not what is shown on the photos.  A lot of new eBayers do not know about this.

• A RECEIPT DOES NOT GUARANTEE AUTHENTICITY.  A lot of buyers are obsessed with receipts... my question to you is, what's stopping a scammer from sending a fake bag along with genuine receipt?  A lot of dishonest sellers present their fake bag with genuine receipt, tags & packaging (dustbag, box, shopping bag) to fool unsuspecting buyers.  NEVER think of a receipt and all these extras as proof of authenticity, but focus on the item itself.  There are even fake receipts and people selling them out there.

• Last but not least, CHOOSE YOUR SELLER carefully.  Make sure the seller has proven feedback of selling only authentic designer goods.  Power Seller/ Top Rated Seller status alone does not guarantee anything as not all sellers are familiar with what they are selling.
