About BASKETS...
You will see in my auctions a wide variety of baskets from two
different companies....Longaberger & Carnation. I have a huge personal
collection of Longaberger and I am always selling something. You all know
about Longaberger, so I will tell you a little about Carnation Basket
Company. It was a small family owned and operated business located
in Alliance, Ohio. The family previously worked for Longaberger as
weavers, and made their baskets in the same fashion....DOUBLE WEAVE hard
wood MAPLE strips, company logo & signature of weaver on the
bottom. QUALITY & CRAFTSMANSHIP of these baskets is
nearly identical to Longaberger. Carnation Basket Company was in
business from 1993 to 2001. When the company closed their doors in
summer of 2001, I purchased the remaining inventory. I make
