I have been a full-time glass artist for the past 14ish years. I started sandblasting, mostly corporate awards, which lead me info some fusing and slumping, mostly slumping. I created many beautiful dishes for my customers and restaurants. Now I guess I should back track a little and tell you my first lampworking experience was in Las Vegas at the Glass Craft Expo in 1997. I took a beginner lampworking class while killing time in-between my eal jobclasses. Fast forward to April 2004 (confused yet). My Mother emailed me one day and told me she got these great glass beads, from a local artist, and was going to incorporate them into the jewellery that she made. Well the possessive nature in me came out and I decided that I too could make beads hell I took a class 8 years ago, what to know. I immediately dug out my hot head and 8-year-old glass and started torching. Have not looked back since. I am now on a Bobcat with an oxycon with a minor back up with a HH back up.

So I guess I have my Mother to thank for my passion to create beads. I was entirely book-taught until just recently. I was fortunate enough to classes from:
Kimberly Affleck
Andrea Guarino-Slemmons Kathy Johnson Amy Johnson
Along with my lampworked beads I have also created a line of hand-pulled, 96 coe glass cane for other lampworkers. I believe my greatest achievement so far, I am very proud of this glass line. At the moment I live on the glorious West Coast of British Columbia. I spent 4 years away in Alberta and am so happy to be back home. I am single and a slave to one demanding cat who loves to curl up under my feet as I torch. Wanna know more??? Email me
