T.J. in Newport Beach, CA purchsaed $ 27,450 last month he emailed me a list of parts, I saved him $ 6230 over what he would have bought online, that's nearly $ 9300 off retail!!!!
He paid $ 500 down via paypal, then wired the balance. Parts came in from 3 different distributors and 2 suppliers and hsipped to him, start to finish 2 weeks! I'll check stock before confirming or giving you a price! If it is not in stock, it's worth a couple bucks to buy from someone else as long as it makes sense. let me take the hassle out of it for you! He wanted to know why I just did word of mouth and did not offer this to people on ebay. Well, now I am.
R.T. in Virginia bought an engine and belt drive with a 6 speed trans - $ 8500 out the door, 100" motor, 3" open belt drive and the motor and trans were oplished. This is a $ 15000 retail order! MSO's are mailed seperately (theft prevention measure), bike was up in three weeks (order took 8 days start to finish), he called me 9/2005 and asked why I dn't offer this stuff to people on Ebay, that's number to, so I am.
Eric Y. of New York city needed a 300 frame, right side drive transmission, 124 cubic inch motor and about fifty odd other parts to put together a custom softail. We figured out the rake, stretch, fork length, all misc. parts and hardware! we tossed the list back and forth a couple times and then got the order done. $ 500 deposit via paypal, balance paid by cashier's check. Once the check cleared, I released the orders. Parts came in around 5-7 days, out the same day the last box of stuff arrived. LTL shipment to him due to size on one pallet, only cost $ 375 freight!!! UPS would have been $ 500 and FedEx nearly $ 450! He saved about $ 4,000 and a bunch of time figuring out what fit with what. Let me handle that!
We have been working with G.H. in England on his new project from March 2006 to August and he has it up and running. Never bought parts he didn't need, we wouldn't let him! 27 orders of various items from FRAME, ENGINE, Transmission, handlebars, wheels and tires. All the ancillary parts such as wiring etc. One happy camper, trick 330 tire custom with a 12 over Spyke inverted front end, S&S 124" engine, PM wheels, brakes, rotors and pulley. One nice ride. We figured out the retail price of all the parts, his bike at full retail would cost $ 72,500 (not counting sales taxes and freight). His total cost of parts alone was a mere 42,341.50 + about 2 grand in freight via FedEx mostly.
K.P. in Canada has been working with me on a special construction for a few weeks now, when HE has the time. We get hims tuff here and there and shipped to him. He has spent $ 2,300 so far but has save about $ 900!! And a lot of hassle and time to figure out what fits with what (and he keeps tweaking the design of the scooter! And that's okay!).
H.M. In Germany ordered some stuff a few weeks ago. Motor, tranny, typical driveline stuff, along with a bunch of chrome billet goodies. Sent the stuff Ocean freight, got there in 3 weeks, precleared through customs. Freight and duty prepaid. I like doing service! I can't fathom how much he saved trying to get this stuff himself. Probably a bundle, and that's fine!
P.T. in Oklahoma wanted a starter for his bike. Needed it bad. Only had $ 250 and needed a hi-torque starter for his big inch motor. Just lost his job, was broke. I handled it, paid the freight, retail on that is over $ 300 (not counting red label!).
L.F. In New York city is building a bunch of motorcycles, about one per month, we started supplying a few parts off our standard offering in May, since then he is purchasing about 200 different components (fenders, electrical parts, trans, engine, etc) for his project bikes which he builds and sells. Without it, HE tells us that he would have to charge an extra 10 grand for his motorcycles, as it is, he can make an ADDITIONAL 5 grand per motorcycle AND lower the retail on his motorcycles by $ 2500! Can't beat that with a stick!.
Australia has been hopping for us. We have twelve regular dealers buying and MANY individuals. The dealers are pleased with our deep discounts and reasonable freight AND fast service, We are shipping to Australia so much we now ship a couple pallets per week in addition to the 5 to 6 boxes of parts PER DAY! Glad to be of service to the land down under, No croc hunter any longer, but his memory will live on.
My point is, I don't think you need to spend and arm/legs worth of money for a bitchin motorcycle! I can help, it is easy for me to do (been doing it for years!) As long as I don't get too buried with stuff, you can take all the time you want to make sure you get EXACTLY what you want! Building custom bikes is my passion, I love parts and have been doing this over 28 years! Take a shot.
I have discounts with ALL the major distributors, buy a lot of stuff factory direct, places that you would think I could! I have great discounts with shipping companies (express, air and freight, including ocean!). I can and do ship next door and worldwide (it is next door to me). Email me at catwin1@sbcglobal.net and we can get you rolling. You can order $ 100 of stuff to try it out, just get something of my store, or place a big order. I don't trip, people are suspicious of everything these days and they should be. The proof's in the pudding as they say. You want to spend big bucks or get a deal, that's up to you. We are not going anywhere and haven't for over thirty years! |
