Helping others through generosity and love Janet telling jokes again, we all laugh Thanks to all of the great people who have given their time and resources to make this such a success. With my age I wouldn't have been able to do it all alone. We have helped so many others and that is something to be proud of. Hopefully we'll grow bigger and better on Ebay thanks to the efforts of people in general. The group picture represents all those wonderful people who have gotten together to share in the joy of helping others. Nice to see everyone again, it meant a lot to all those involved. Next time we'll have to get more chicken and mashed potatoes. We'll have to make it mandatory that no one wear suits because I felt out of place in my so-called farmer clothes. Besides, you wouldn't want to spill anything on those nice clothes anyway. Looking forward to next years get together! Special thanks to Cindy, Barbara, Jesse, Ricky and Steven! We never know what items we will get and frankly don't know much about what a lot of them are. As long as I can read what the words are on the item, I can put it in the description. This internet has really helped me be able to pull up item descriptions that I would have never had. At least some wonderful person came up with this copy and paste thing. Wow! My younger grandchildren seem to know more than us adults when it comes to computers and the internet. Thanks to them as well. I wish I knew more about the items that are being auctioned, but I'm just a simple man and the technical people who gave these items to us (from around the nation) are always nice enough to email me paragraphs and wording that I would have never known. Anyway, many thanks to all, enjoy our auctions, and good luck. We try to start our auctions out cheap and affordable. If you get a $500 item for $10, or a $5,000 item for $20, it's all fine. The proceeds will still do a lot of good. We also have a lot of downloadable books and we've made sure that they are all read/tested before you get them (they're called Ebooks) by sharp minded people that know what is fluff and what is worth paying for. This way you get these Ebooks we're going to be offering for nearly 90% OFF or more (sometimes pennies on the dollar) of what they normally sell for. We've even decided to give some away for free. Anyway, rest assured that our ebooks really open up, have quality "hard to find" content and you will be super happy beyond words with your purchase. We are volunteers, not some big company. We've just found a wonderful way to help other people directly without middlemen taking 99% of the proceeds as what they call administrative fees. When you can give directly it makes a bigger difference. People to people. Many children have many different diseases, are terminally ill, etc. Their families are losing everything trying to cope with their situation and mounting bills. Think about if this were happening to you or your family. A child with a definite timeline of life is heartbreaking. The next time you're out in public and see a child in a wheelchair, walking awkwardly, drooling or twitching, instead of staring at them, smile at them, give them a hug, just merely say 'hello' to their parents. Everywhere they go people look at them as if their children were misfits of society. These could be, or could have been your kids. A smile goes a long way. If you ever want to bid or buy for more than the low prices we have items for, contact us and we can raise the price to whatever higher amount for you. We've had so many people that tell us that the items they won from us were so undervalued with our asking prices. We're happy you know what you have and we surely don't. You're happy, we're grateful and happy, don't even mention it, just keep your good deal to yourself. We're not here to drain you for items, we just want someone to have it that knows what it is and can appreciate it. Even if you resell the items you won/bought from us, that's fine too. Share the joy of happiness.
