Coffee is my livlihood, books are my passion, and knitting/crocheting is my hobby. I currently own a drive-thru coffee shop in Salt Lake City, UT called JAVA EXPRESS. There we sell the freshest of coffees and espresso based drinks. Our mission is to serve the best coffee and espresso with "EXPRESS" service, in a fun, customer interactive environment. My staff is expert at extracting the best oils from the beans and creating the most delicious drinks in town. We know our regular customers by name and drink and quickly prepare their special drink, sometimes before they even arrive at the window!

We also carry 100% organic tea in a variety of flavors, Big Train Spiced Chia, along with fun travel mugs and t-shirts. We are just beginning to expand the business into hard line items such as coffee makers, grinders, and espresso machines.

What better to go with coffee than a good book? I've read voraciously my entire life. A few years ago, I completed a class on book collecting. Since recently moving to AZ, I have some time to persue the hunt for collectible books. My main interest is mystery, but older first edition classics are on my list too. I want to expand my store in this area and have found that estate sales are the best place to find old treasures.

Cool fall days, cold winter months remind me of learning to knit and crochet with my grandmother. A warm cup of tea and a warm yarn creation in my lap is pure heaven. Since retiring (very young mind you!) I am picking up my interest in various yarns. I will attend a trade show in January to find the most exquisite yarns available at the best prices. I want to offer those to my customers at a reduced mark up. I don't want the kinds yarn you can get anywhere. I want the rare and unusual, but not so rare no one will buy it.
