I have been a eBay Member since May 27, 1999. I started as a buyer only. I collected Arnold Schwarzenegger movies and books and checked out eBay trying to add to my collection. I had first heard about eBay on a talk radio show. I was working with my Dad in his Retail vacuum business and we specialized in pre-owned Top of the line vacuums. I did a search on eBay and found a number of vacuums that I sell! Luckily, I had spent four years in the US Navy specializing in computers so learning how to sell was easy. Although I have a retail location, 95% of my business is eBay only. I dedicate my time to selling quality product on eBay! My very first Vacuum sold online was a Kirby G5. I have sold a vacuum cleaner in every state in America, including Hawaii, and Alaska. I got the vacuum shortly after I received your email, and of course I tried it out! It works wonderfully! As luck would have it, my dogs tipped over an indoor plant that I have and the dirt was everywhere on my carpets. I zipped the Kirby over it a couple times and now you can’t even tell. What a vacuum! I have a Kirby Classic that I love, but it is heavy and it stinks. This Ultimate G is like none other. It is not the Cadillac of vacuums, it is the Rolls Royce! As for your service and word, it can't be beat. If I didn't know any better, I would swear the vacuum was brand new. I searched it for flaws and couldn't find any. I have to admit, I was leary of purchasing something like this from a complete stranger on the internet, but I couldn't have had a better experience. The vacuum is exactly the way you described it. Acutally, it was better. And thank you for going to the extra trouble to get me the original box. I have left feedback for you on ebay. Phil Faulconer 05 February 2008 Thanks Jamie, I have an old rainbow that I bought new in 1977 when they were $600.00. Quite a price back then as an USAF E-5 with a family of 4. But it's been a great vacuum all these years. It's just getting a little tired. I think I'm going to keep for odd jobs like cleaning up after the toilet overflows, other liquid spill clean-ups and defrosting the freezer. The cost of replacing it with a new one was just too much. The stuff this thing has picked up after being vacuumed repeatedly with the Miele is astonishing! Patience is not one of my strong points. I am ashamed of my floors.. Maybe I should be ashamed of my old vacuum, my floors didn't do it. I have older carpet in my house but I can really tell a difference. I will be on you web site raving about this system. I love it. I was reading the owners manual and it says you can order fragrances for it. What scents do you carry, if any. Will they really scent the rooms up? Or just a waste?? John Andrus 24 August 2007 Jamie, I am looking forward to receiving the vacuum. A good friend lent me her 16 year old Rainbow SE to try it out. I cannot believe the difference. After vacuuming with my old vacuum (i year old) the next day I used hers and poured mud out of the water basin afterwards. I started looking online and realized that Rainbows can't be bought new except from a distributor for around $1600.00 - $2000.00. I wasn't going to pay that but I loved the vacuum. That brought me to E-bay and you. I have never bought anything on e-bay and was a nervous wreck (very skeptical). I researched a lot of the other sellers' and honestly felt more secure with your site. Your reputation and feedback from past customers was the only way I was going to go through with the purchase. Have a great day!! Kat 19 April 2007 Jamie, Got the Rainbow at around 5pm had it working at 5:05 LOL. Everything came in good condition and works great. Since we had one years ago it was a snap to put it togeather and try it out in a hurry. One thing we are not sure of is the lever on the power head. If you slide it so the red is showing is that more or less suction. Not sure how to set that lever. The Aquamate is another challenge but will figure it out. I unpacked it and put it together and vacuumed the downstairs. I love it! I am so glad to be able to get rid of my Kirby! Letting go of my Rainbow several years ago was a big mistake! I am especially impressed by how good the motor sounds! Its very clean, and the water bowl must be brand new (I am very glad about that!). My wife isn't familiar with Rainbow's, so she was sceptical of my ebay purchase. I've only vacuumed with it so far and it does a great job. What a superb machine! I was wondering if the Micron Magic filter bags that came with this unit are the same as the Hepa filter bags?
