Hi! I'm Lea. I live a simple but blessed life with my husband and children here in rural West Tennessee. I delight in working with my hands and creating items that make our home a warm and comforting place to live. Be it stitching or quilting or doll making, it seems I always have a project or two (or three) in the works. I am especially fond of the old arts … and of recreating items that resemble those used and enjoyed by the women of our past. I am so inspired by the ingenuity, resourcefulness and strength of these incredible women.
Here at Farmhouse*Blessings, I hope to offer some of my handcrafted items to help make your home a haven of warmth and beauty. I enjoy antiques and especially like incorporating vintage items into my work. A piece of a worn quilt, a old button or an antique candle stick ~ those simple things bring such joy! From time to time, I may even offer something I've uncovered during one of my “treasure hunts” ~ though probably not often because once I get them home, I usually can't bear to part with them!
Thanks so much for stopping by. If you have any questions or comments, I'd love to hear from you at my email ~ farmhouse_blessings@yahoo.com ~ or stop by and visit my blog ~ www.farmhouseblessings.blogspot.com. ~*~ Here is a sampling of my work ...
