PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
We make our best effort to list each individual item as
honestly and accurately as we can. This means that
"What you see is what you get" if the listing doesn't include manuals,
accessories, or AC then please don't assume it they will be included. Buyers
must remember, however, that liquidation is vastly different than a retail
facility. Our merchandise normally comes from many unique and diverse sources
such as lost freight, manufactures over runs, discontinued models, corporate
bankruptcy, open box, customer returns, or scratch and dent. Often these items
are in perfect or even in new condition but some items may have issues. Because
of the diverse nature of our product we don't always know if the
merchandise is complete (with all its accessories) or if every option functions
perfectly. Please carefully consider this information and bid accordingly,

SHIPPING & HANDLING
All items are professionally packed to arrive undamaged. UPS, USPS,
and Fedex are our standard shipping carriers worldwide. If you wish to use
another carrier such as DHL, we will try to accommodate you however this
requires extra handling on our part and we have to charge a $10 service charge
for this. On international orders please be aware that there are size
restrictions that may make it impossible to ship via the mail. If you're not
willing to pay UPS charges to have it sent to your country please don't
bid. You can get an estimate of shipping costs to your area by clicking on
the link to UPS on this page; we are shipping from zip code 94116. We do have a
modest mark up on the cost to cover the cost of packing and packing materials.
We are glad to combine orders to reduce your shipping costs. If a purchase is
received in damaged condition, you must immediately file a claim with the
freight carrier and report the same to us. All packaging materials must be saved
for inspection by the carrier representatives.
INSURANCE
We do not pay for insurance, however we are glad to arrange
it for your shipment if requested and you must include it with your payment if
you desire it. Even though we pack well it is possible that items get damaged
and some even get lost. Insurance is your only compensation. We will NOT
compensate for lost or damaged articles.
PAYMENT
We accept money orders, cashiers checks and company checks.
Personal checks are held for 10 days to clear. Credit cards are accepted via
Paypal with a 2% surchargel. Payment must be received within 7 days after
auctions end. Please include eBay item # with payment. If you live in the state
of California sales tax must be collected unless you provide a copy of your
resale certificate with your payment. Also, we've noticed that you guys can
snipe to within a nanosecond. Since you are all so fast and right on time,
please don't forget to send us your payment with the same
enthusiasm. We've had lots of people sit on these things until they grow
whiskers. We've tried to be nice, but getting refunds of auction fees from Ebay
is a slow and tedious process and if you don't fulfill your contractual
commitments we will leave negative feedback on your profile.
FEEDBACK
We do leave positive feedback for smooth transactions. However, since we only
put in feedback once a week please be patient.
WARRANTY
Unless stated otherwise in our posting all equipment
purchases from FC Asset Management carry a 5 day right of return. A purchased item may only
be returned to FC with a RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. To
obtain an RMA number, simply contact us either by phone, by FAX or by e-mail
with details of the purchase ready for approval. One of your best warranties is
dealing with a reputable, established business.
QUESTIONS
We will try to give you all of the pertinent data pertaining
to an item in our posting. Since most of the items we sell are reasonably
high-tech, you should also be informed with regard to scientific theory. If
there is a feature that is important to you (intensity, color, wavelength,
magnetism, power requirements, radiation emitted, velocity, range, weight, size,
etc.) please ask us about it! If you need an additional picture of an item at a
special angle, ask us! We have nothing to hide, however if you wait till
just before bid closing to pose you questions there simply may not be enough
time for us to respond. If you wish to purchase an item, you should know
something about that item as well as the theory that makes it work and be
technologically competent to repair, maintain, calibrate, modify and otherwise
properly use that item. Please note we will not provide technical support.
RESERVE PRICE
FC Asset items with reserves have prices that are of a
realistic wholesale level, unlike individual or retail sellers that have
inflated prices. We realize that many bidders are frustrated when there is an
unknown reserve price and feel less inclined to bid. However, our reserves are
set at a conservative wholesale level at all times.
