Hi there, fellow ebayers! I'm Jennifer, wife to Eric, and mama to my precious homeschooled kiddos. As a family, we are first and foremost Christians, grateful to be adopted into God's family. Additionally, we strive to live as frugally and naturally as possible. We cloth diaper our babies in organic and eco-friendly fabrics, and use organic or recycled wool as diaper covers. We dress in completely natural fibers, using organics and sustainable fibers whenever possible. Our diet is 100% organic, too.
My hobbies include sewing, knitting, and finding a good bargain. I love to shop ebay for everything! Most of our diapers, covers, and clothing, have been purchased here, not to mention supplements, health and wellness items, electronics, and many of our home furnishings and furniture.
I specialize in making woolen and cashmere garments for mom, baby, and kids. These are handcrafted by me, one inspiration at a time. Some are sewn from wool fabric by the yard, some from recycled wool sweaters, and some are knit or crocheted with wool yarn. There's no telling what wonderful woolly surprises will be listed next!
What's in a name? My username has several meanings:
It is my heart's desire to share the Good Will Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many precious folks as I can (please be sure to check out my link below).
Everything I sell is listed in a spirit of good will, striving to give you the highest quality, even luxury, garments at the most frugal price possible.
Many of my recycled sweater fabrics come from thrift store finds.
The child who inspired me to start sewing with animal fibers is named Will!
A word about my recycled sweaters: when I shop for sweaters to sew woolen garments from, I am very picky. I would not purchase a garment to sew from that I would not put on my own child. Here are some of my criteria:
Softness: only the finest grade fibers are chosen. Good quality merino, lambswool, or cashmere are my favorites.
Hand: the fabric must have the right combination of stretch and thickness for the application I will be using it.
Condition: I choose only new with tags, or like new garments.
Style: the colors and patterns must be appealing and appropriate.
For in depth information about how and why wool is such a miracle fiber, as well as how to care for your wool, see the link to my eBay guide below. While this article was written specifically with a cloth diapering application in mind, the information is relevant for all wool garments I make and sell.
I'm so grateful you decided to stop in and learn a little more about me. If you do choose to do business with me, I promise to treat you as I would wish to be treated, whether you are the buyer or the seller. |
