1. What does OEM mean?
(OEM) Original Equipment Manufacturer means that the item is original and authentic. It is made by the manufacturer and is intended to be used with the manufacturers phones and accessories.
2. What does UNLOCKED/LOCKED mean?
(Unlocked) An UNLOCKED GSM phone is a phone that may be branded to a carrier (i.e. T-Mobile) but will accept most any GSM SIM card from other carriers. It is the equivalent of using a Cingular SIM card in a T-Mobile phone. This does not reflect web settings which vary from carrier to carrier.
(Locked) A LOCKED GSM phone is branded to a specific carrier (i.e. T-Mobile) and may only be used with that carrier. You can potentially unlock this phone yourself through your carrier or software fixes.
3. What does NEW, NEVER OPENED mean?
A brand new product. Never used. Package may be open for quality assurance and or testing purposes as well as any accessory additions. There is no true "never opened" phone package because of this.
4. What does REFURBISHED/*RB mean?
A product that has been remanufactured by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer). Most have lens tape and or stickers attached. Most appear to have little to no cosmetic damage, or wear. May have minor usage and is guaranteed to be 100% functional and operational at time of delivery.
5. What does USED mean?
A product that has been used. Most have cosmetic wear and tear. GSM CELLULAR PRODUCTS does not grade its product based on quantity or severity of nicks and scratches that are present, and whether or not one item appears better than another. A used item has previously been owned and utilized, however the item is guaranteed to be 100% functional and operational at time of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
6. What does BAND mean?
850/900/1800/1900 MHz are network frequencies called BANDS, used in mobile phones. Any phone can have these four bands individually or mixed and matched. The US uses 850/1900 MHz, so having one or both will ensure your phone works in the US. Europe and Asia use 900/1800 MHz, so having one or both will ensure your phone will work in Europe and/or Asia. Some bands work better in certain areas. Please check with your carrier for specific zip codes and/or regions that may be compatible. As an example; Cingular/AT&T prefers the 850 MHz band be present in some areas for optimal performance.
7. What does GSM mean?
(GSM) Global System for Mobile phones. A phone that requires a SIM card (small chip), be inserted for operation on the network. The GSM phone requires a SIM card to operate and the SIM card may be used with LOCKED/UNLOCKED phones that operate on any one of different network BANDS. It stores your personal information and other needed specifics.

9. What does CONFIRMED PayPal address mean?
A CONFIRMED PayPal address is needed to purchase and receive an item from GSM CELLULAR PRODUCTS if and when you use the PayPal service. This ensure security and is required for shipping. To CONFIRM your address you must log into your PayPal account and take the necessary steps, which most times means that your credit card billing address should match your shipping address. This does not mean PayPal VERIFIED. You can be PayPal VERIFIED with an UNCONFIRMED address.
10. What happens if I have already paid, but my PayPal account is UNCONFIRMED?
If you have paid using PayPal with an UNCONFIRMED address then you will receive a refund less $19.99 USD for your transaction, and you will then receive an email instructing you of this. To complete your transaction simply log into your PayPal account and take the steps necessary to CONFIRM your address. Please refer to question 10. The process is quick and easy and if you have any trouble you can call PayPal on their phone number located in the Contact Us section on their website. If you can not CONFIRM your account for any reason (which happens to Canadian buyers) you must inform us within 48 hours so we can help end your transaction right away to avoid further delays.
